The DAY the sun died...

My beloved Doris is gone.  It's tragic...  the last of the big band singers and a great actress to boot...

Rest in peace...

This is my favorite Doris Day song, from "The Tunnel Of Love".  Run Away, Skidaddle, Skidoo..

I don't need Google.  My wife says she knows everything.

She was one of America's sweethearts, and just a great lady.

Remember like yesterday being in the "way-back" of the folks '57 Ford wagon while they were at the Drive-In movie. We kids were lying down and supposedly sleeping but I can recall hearing Doris singing "Que Sera Sera", great song.  An American icon is gone.

I'm only old enough to remember the Doris Day show, but her voice and accompanying music will live forever. Didn't "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" become a TV show?
