Sorry I don't have any in Black and White at the present... try back again around the holidays.  ;-)

A few more particulars about your desired unit may help narrow down the available consoles Larry...

Sorry, me no have a color picture... I got this one out of the 1957 catalog on this site.  I'd like a 1957 Continental with the sliding door that has the metal grill like this one.  I'd really like to find one of the blonde, or ebony, cabinets.

Absolutely... I'd take that one.  Walnut?  That looks ebony.

Yes that one is Ebony, sold it about 5 months ago.

I have a walnut unit, with the matching Amplified extension speaker, that is currently in my restoration Que....

Here is one that the seller says is a 59 that is currently for sale in the Glendale area of Los Angeles:  http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/fuo/5051459315.html

Ken, that's a nice one in Glendale.  Wish it was closer!!!!  I'd pay his asking price for it.

Yeah it looks very nice!  I'm currently on a buying hiatus as I have more consoles than I have time or space for at the moment.

I need to get a couple of them serviced and back out into the music listening world before I can buy more!   ::)

My mind may be playing tricks on me but I seem to remember a blonde one in the Boston area last week for something like $75. I saw it a few times but couldn't find it this morning. It may not have been a Continental but darn close if it wasn't. It had the sliding door and a marble looking sliding top.

I'd rather drive to Glendale for that one... much nicer set than this one here.

Actually, both are too far away from me.   :'( :'( :'(

That appears to be a blonde cabinet that's severely yellowed.  The blonde cabinets are supposed to be a pale color.  You can tell it was originally blonde by the color of the reverse painted glass sliding top doors.  That one would have to be refinished.

A good blonde cabinet will look like this:

My best guess, based on the one I have in my garage that is the same color is that one is a Walnut cabinet, not the blonde finish.
