Late 1940's Fisher console in Georgian cabinet, I think.
« on: November 15, 2015, 03:17:19 PM »
I found this in the Philadelphia area.  It is a Fisher I've never seen before.  Looks to be late 1940's, but I do not recognize the tuner chassis in this console.  It's housed in the Georgian cabinet and it has the dynamic range expander.  There is a separate amp chassis containing loctal, miniature, AND loctal tubes!   The ID tag on the back of the console states it is a model "E11", serial number 4031.  Never heard of it!  It has me baffled.  Any help in identification is most appreciated.

Nice find.  That flocked platter looks like new.  Some real iron in that amp too.
