Pioneer Speakers
« on: February 24, 2016, 09:51:25 PM »
These are at one of my spots. They want $125 I think. They look old but i'm not sure. The tops are like formica. They are just speakers the tops don't lift up but they have knobs on the side.Maybe somebody added the tops?

I've saw a lot of Pioneer speakers but never any like that.  I'd say they're very old and rare.

These are 1959 Pioneer CS-201's. They are pretty cool and pretty rare. That being said, they only feature a 8" woofer and a horn.$125 is not a bad price if you want to own them. There really isn't a huge profit to made by buying and trying to resell.

Here's a pair on the Ebay that sold for $910 and had 3 bids.  I know Ebay has some crazy bidders but I'd take a chance on them for $125 if I were close.

It looks like the ones I found are missing one of the sets of emblems?

I was able to buy the speakers for $100. They have been in that antique mall for four months.
