250 bucks!!!!!

However a good friend of mine sent me a picture of a stereo asking hey is this any good. I about spit out my coffee. He was at work so I took off work and picked it up for him. He found the ad so no way I'd take it.

It was a young college girl that had it the last 5 years. She bought it from a antique store in Missouri. She loves vinyl and tube stereos but is moving to an apartment and needs something lighter and smaller. It was listed as just a Magnavox console. When my friend sent the pic to me I knew he was busy at work so I went and snagged it for him. I told him, hey I have it just pay me what I spent.

I told the girl if she decides on another Magnavox I'll help her restore it.

I've searched for 7 years and never found a driving distance CG. He's lucky

No remote of course... But maybe one will turn up.

Yeah it's heavy. No shoulder showing off lol. Ive learned how to load these by myself though. Plus my truck is lowered a little which makes loading easier.

As far as i know its all original. but i haven't Removed the back cover yet to verify. i go to his house sunday to start going over it. hes familiar with electronics so he can help with recapping it. the girl said it was used often so hopefully that's true. she said it played records just fine. which is better news than the typical liar saying "only needs a needle" or a "belt" :o

Maybe the regular use kept the power supply caps alive. I'll be interested to see pics.
