V-M 815-2
« on: June 19, 2016, 08:09:36 PM »
I bought this one this weekend. It had been in the same family since new but they were downsizing and nobody wanted it. It has a really different look than any other console that I have seen. The top won't stay up very good and will slam down hard. It has that spring in the latch. Any tips on how to tighten up the latch so the top will stay up ?

This is what I used on my VM 818-3 and it is about as identical to the original as I could ever hope to find.

Yours appears to be very similar but has the multiplex, and a slightly different amp.
