Any Info on Voice of Music 901?
« on: July 25, 2016, 01:02:46 PM »
Any info on the amp and the speaker components that were used?  Including the extension speaker.  I believe it is an EL34-based amp, but I have no other info.  Anyone?

A quick search brought this up.

Per the Sams Photofact 475-15, this console has 2 separate power amp chasses.

Channel A & channel B each have 2 x EL84 + ECC83 (12AX7) and a power transformer for
each stereo channel.

This unit also has a preamplifier with 2 x 12AX7.

Hybrid of a PC board (radio chassis) with point to point wiring in amps/preamp.

Looks like the top of the line VM  !

For info on the speaker complement for stereo use, contact Gary at http://thevoiceofmusic.com

The Sams Photofact only lists speaker complement in the console cabinet (3 speakers).
