Texas Concert Grand Post Disappeared?
« on: March 27, 2017, 05:24:51 PM »
There was a posting on here for a $400 Concert Grand in Texas which I replied to.  Where did it go to.  I can't even find my post where I replied to it.

Very strange, the entire thread here just disappeared.  Maybe it sold yesterday.

Yes close to David, but that doesn't explain the dissappearance of the entire thread now does it?

maybe he realized it was worth a whole bunch more than $400.
It was in really nice condition and he says it worked well.
Thats $1000+ easy. Didn't see an actual remote in the pics though. Did have the receiver.

Strange.  It was too far away for me to buy but I was just curious to see if anybody here got it.  I don't expect to ever find one close to me but I still have my Windsor which isn't going anyplace.   :)

I do not need two, but I could make a little detour on my way home, so I replied as well.  Wonder what happened?

David didn't get this one, but think he found out the Craigslist ad had been pulled.

The folks that had this CG for sale probably found out it was worth much more than their $400 asking price, so they pulled the ad.

I'd bet it shows back up on Craigslist in Austin, Texas soon at a much higher price.

I saw the posting from a newbie selling his Dad's Concert Grand yesterday morning as well and got busy at the office and closed the site. A little later in the morning I opened the site back up and couldn't find it anywhere. I had one of those moments where I asked myself, "Did I really see that or did I dream that I saw it?'' ha ha. Even went to Craigslist in Austin and couldn't find the posting with all the pictures as it was gone too. I then surmised that perhaps an Administrator on this Forum took it down.

I am relieved to see the comments that I was not alone in wondering about this. My question is if one authors a post are they able to take it down along with other folks comments too? Didn't realize that was possible.

Regards,

Greg

I don't think members can delete their own threads like they can on Facebook.  I'm pretty sure it can only be deleted here by a moderator or administrator.  BTW, I didn't delete it.
