OK, here goes . . . Are there any Bert Kaempfert fans out there?
There's just no mistaking that Fender Bass played with a pick.
Can you say, "That Happy Feeling"?

Happy music.  "Wonderland By Night" was one of the most over-played songs from 1962 ever recorded.  Floyd Cramer recorded his version in 1962 and it is fantastic.  We played the song in band for years.  There is no mistaking Kaempfert music.  Almost as distinctive as Lawrence Welk.  I have lots of his material.  The hyper-stereo sounds great on a Concert Grand.
If it ain't broke, call me.  I can break it....

Sounds great on a Fisher, too...

Found tons of Bert material in goodwill including a mint Longines box set for $3.  Pop a few LPS on the changer while making dinner makes great background muzak.

My favorite Bert Kaempfert track is Afrikaan Beat.
