Fisher Futura, Lex., Ky. $250
« on: October 29, 2017, 05:17:22 PM »
There's a 1962 Fisher Futura in Lexington, Ky. for $250.  I contacted him before he put a price on it and he told me $200 for it so I'm guessing it could be bought for that much or less.  Greg ( Deutschgerg ) went to look at it and said it wouldn't power up and it didn't look as good as it did in the pictures.

That's a lotta console for $200. The components alone are worth well over that.

That's what I thought too.  The tubes alone may be worth that much if all of them are good.  Greg said that the guy had bought it at an estate sale and was flipping it.  If it doesn't sell soon he may come down some more on the price.

That console would be easily restored. If for some reason it were to be parted out itís value would easily reach over $700. When these show up in your area they are a gift not to be overlooked.

I couldn't agree more. This one should be kept intact and restored. It's already very clean.

I have a 1959 Futura II and it gets more play than any other console I own.
