The only one that I remember seeing in stores back in the day or have every seen in my neck of the woods since is the Dry Sink.  I didn't mind the cabinets, at least they were wood.  Unlike the chipboard, contact paper, plastic trim that was of the same era.  Those were bad!  Can't say I have every heard one so no comment on the sound.

I second that opinion! I give Mag points for that dry sink but consoles were going the way of Disco by then.
After the horrible plastic-dark-wood-fake stuff these were a step in the right direction, other than the BSR changers.
