Zenith electrostatic tweeter replacement?
« on: March 29, 2018, 08:23:23 AM »
I have a HF16 consolette and the tweeters are shot. Is there any type of replacement for these? Like a piezo tweeter or something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What year is an HF16 from? I can look it up and see how the signal is supplied to it.

I do know that electrostatic tweets were used in most German and some Zenith tube table radios.

In Zenith at least, the interlude series of table radios like the H845 had one and it was connected to the primary winding of the audio output transformer.
