Pre-stereophonic High Fidelity Motorola

I'm having a look at this. The seller is "moving and wants it gone". I have not seen a Mono HiFi from Motorola before.

There was one like it advertised on Craig's List in my area this past winter while I was in Arizona. I was in the wrong place for me to pick it up.  :(

I'm not sure it's a good thing I am the only guy with too-easy access buying these. I suspect one day it will dry up, like the 1960s and older color TV supply did.

This is a Drexel-cabinet Motorola, in need of a re-finish but the price was hard to beat. It is stereo but missing its companion speaker. The amp is all in one HS703, fortunately.

Matching a speaker cabinet may be a challenge but it does match a Motorola TV I have.

I last post was Motorla model A21K63CW, about 2 model years older than the M.Y. 1959 HiFi, yet it already notes "HiFi sound" on the speaker badge. It has two speakers.
