Bulbs?
« on: June 26, 2018, 09:59:11 AM »
I have several bulbs burned out in my Zenith B966 console. So far I have been able to get out the bulbs for the timer and they have GE 204 one one and GE 1847 on the others. I haven't been able to locate these yet. The Sam's photofact doesn't show the bulbs. Does anyone love what bulbs are in the touch controls and if there is another number for the 1847 or 204?

The 1847 is a heavy duty version of the plain old 47 as I understand it.  The GE 204 might be neon bulb or something like that.  You may have to access the website of an electronics house to find out more about what a 204 is.  AES and Radio Daze neither one have a listing for a 204.  The 47 is a .15 amp lamp that was used by the millions is instruments having transformer power supplies.  Good luck.
I don't need Google.  My wife says she knows everything.

Thank you! I'm thinking the 204 was put in there where an 1847 was supposed to be. I found a store locally that has the 47 in stock.

I looked, and the lamps for the functions are #1819 which are 28 volt .04 amp miniature bayonet lamp.  They will look just like the #1847 lamps.
The #1847 lamps are used for the dial illumination.  Hope this helps.
