Howdy from Sandy Eggo!
« on: August 21, 2018, 01:41:48 AM »
I just blathered my story in the newbie introduction section, so, narrowing down too much stuff but recently rebelled and brought home a neat 1ST205 H which is pretty much a barn find... it begins. I think I just want to listen to Sinatra on this one eventually. Lots of werk probably tho. I started to read Patís story about restoration and heís been very kind to allow me to pick his brain, so I have that going for me!😃
Iíll try to figure out how to post a couple of pics.
Thanks for listening 🤙

Nice looking unit from the back.  Amp looks like my Berkshire amp.  Do you have any front photos?  Sinatra would sound good on it.

A 1958 stereo Concert Grand!  They are a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.  Congratulations and enjoy!   :)

Thanks Greg!  I did not notice the other horn in the upper RH corner or the fact that the thing under it was the second amp.  :-[  I really need that cataract surgery!

That is one great looking Magnavox.  I love the light color, not seen often.  At least by me.

Anything with tubes that says "Magnificent Magnavox" is a keeper!   :)
