Model 1P3621 Micromatic Record Player
« : January 14, 2020, 09:49:29 AM »
I have a Model 1P3621 and the record player is not working. The flywheel will not meet the motor pin.  I can manually push the flywheel to meet the motor pin and than it works, but it will not work on it's own.  Does anyone has a schematic of this record player?  I am wondering if the spring that connects the flywheel arm to the motor pin came off or stretched.  Can the spring be accessed from the top of the record player?  I have not removed the flywheel because I'm not sure what I am doing. I would appreciate any help on this.

Welcome to the asylum! Have you already cleaned the old, hard lubrication from under the turntable and regreased it?

First, Welcome!  Second, and speaking from experience it sometimes takes more than one cleaning before things are really clean.  And again, speaking from experience, it is very easy to over look something you think you have right.  I'm not saying you did, but it's always a good thing to double check your work.  I have screw things up more than I care to share.  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ ::) :( :( :)
