this has kind of a cool look to it. not sure how great it sounds if it only weighs 15 pounds. appears to be in good shape

i've talked the seller down to $140, but that still feels too high...what is a fair/reasonable offer on something i kinda like but definitely don't need?

what do you guys think? is this a piece of junk?   :)

It's kinda cool but that's a lot of money for a solid state unit. Entire consoles can be had for less.

Agreed and i already have a nice portable, Sylvania Exponent 4/40, which really cranks

That has the "look" people like.  That said, it is still solid state.  Not a lot of collectibility.  Pretty limited audience of folks who want one.  I don't believe I'd be a player at $200.  It's your money, and if you like it, how about moving the decimal point a bit?  You know it will need a tune-up.  I'd offer $25, since you have nothing to lose......
